Artificial Intelligence and AIVA: AIVA stands for Artificial Intelligence Virtual Artist. It uses deep learning to compose new music based on a few parameters set by the user. It was trained on 30,000 scores that were labeled with mood, style, and other information.

Background: AIVA was created by Pierre Barreau and is the first computer composer to be recognized by a music society. The company's long-term goal is to personalize music by giving everyone the opportunity to have a live soundtrack for their life so that music, like photographs, can capture important moments in time.
