Artificial Intelligence and AIVA: AIVA stands for Artificial Intelligence Virtual Artist. It uses deep learning to compose new music based on a few parameters set by the user. It was trained on 30,000 scores that were labeled with mood, style, and other information.
Privacy Highlights: Creating an account requires an email, but free accounts do not require you to input a credit card number. The site may not meet COPPA requirements for protecting the privacy of students under the age of 13. Read the full Privacy Policy and End User License Agreement online.
Background: AIVA was created by Pierre Barreau and is the first computer composer to be recognized by a music society. The company's long-term goal is to personalize music by giving everyone the opportunity to have a live soundtrack for their life so that music, like photographs, can capture important moments in time.
