Häme University of Applied Sciences Mustiala unit carry out this module in cooperation with:
Maatiainen NGO (the Finnish Seed Saver organisation)
Perinnemaisemayhdistys ry. (Semi-natural meadows in Finland)
Kuralan kylämäki (museum)
Do you also want to be a cooperation partner of the Diversity of Farm Environment module of the Rural Business Education Program of Häme University of Applied Sciences?
The liaison partner can give tasks that the students solve during the module. Tasks can be related to the following topics:
Traditional landscapes, e.g. creating a management plan for the area
Field plants, e.g. field plant testing and reporting. We are multiply growing field pea seeds that have been ordered home from the Nordic gene bank. HAMK Mustiala has test plots for field plants.
Plant inventories of old traditional courtyards or experiments in the production of farm plants.
Farm animals, e.g. farm animal tracking tasks, producing video or image material about farm animals.
Geographically, our students come from all over Finland, and possibly a learner is from your home county this year.
