Comprehensive Selection Process

EDF has a Provincial Committee (local officials from the Educational Promotion Department who serve under the Office of Educational Service Area and Ministry of Education), who manages the student and school selection process, and helps to monitor and develop the programs and projects.

For students to qualify for the scholarships, they must be living in financial hardship (under 40000 baht per year); and must complete a stringent selection process that involves a Provincial Committee, finding suitable schools with strong networks, and completing many application interviews.
