EDF understands that a quality education is the key to sustainable development and equality, and continues to develop their innovative programs to transform education in Thailand. Their programs move towards a sustainable society with strategic plans such as:
- Information and Technologies (IT) Education whose vision is to narrow the gap between urban and rural students by giving them access to online distance education and experienced teachers, resources and potential income opportunities. EDF help by providing software, hardware and WIFI to schools and training workshops, which enables rural schools to access Thailand's Royal Distance Learning Program.
- Bicycle projects to provide students with transportation options to get to school
- One School One Project (OSOP) that teaches students career and agricultural skills.
- Library Box projects that supply books to schools
- EDF and Nokia Solutions and Network hosted Thai Cyber Kids Contest 2017 . Collaborating with Nokia Solutions and Network (Thailand), this one year program helps students to use technology to access global information resources and education to help improve the quality of education in the classroom.
- Internet Friendship Project sponsored by The Japan Foundation facilitates Thai students communicating online with Japanese students and exchanging culture and developing communication skills.
