This is an app collecting schedules from all public transportations in Denmark.

Ungdomskort is a travel card for all all 16-19 years old, or if you are attending a high school-level or higher education. You are paying a fixed price per month for unlimited travels between your school and your home address. In this case your Host Family. The price is depending on how many zones you are traveling. You can also travel unlimited in all of Nordjyllands Trafikselskab's area. In rest of Denmark you can travel by bus at children price, or by train for youth price no matter your age.
You need to have Danish Yellow Card and MitID to order an Ungdomskort.
We recommend this for full year Exchange Students.
NOTE! New rules limits ONLY EU-citizens can apply for Ungdomskort. Non-EU citizen exchange students can loose their visa if attempting to apply.
If you are not full year Exchange Student, but semester student, trimester student, efterskole student, højskole student or volunteer, we recommend getting a Rejsekort.
Rejsekort makes it easy to travel by public transport (bus, train).

To get MitID you need to have a Danish social security card (The Yellow Card). To have MitID you need to contact Borgerservice in the municipality where you live.
MitID is a security code when logging into a lot of websites with sensitive personal information.
It works by you are loggin into the website with a login name and a password. You will then be asked to open and login to the MitID app. When logged in, a QR code will appear on your computerscreen. Scan the QR code with your phone, and you are logged into the website.
If you are regular Exchange Student or Højskole student, your Host Family or Contact Family/person will help you get this. If you are Efterskole Student or Volunteer at Ranum Efterskole, the school will help you getting this.

This app allows you to easily send or recieve money to or from your friends. Only information you need to transfer is their mobile phone number. You download the app, register with MitID, add your informations (name, phone number and credit card informations), and you're good to go.
It requires though they have downloaded and registred themselves.
It is only available for Danish, Greenlandic, Norwegian and Finish credit cards.
This app is essential to you! With this app you send your receipts for your travel expenses to AFS to mandatory camps etc, that you can have the cost refunded.
