Ms. Afrika Abney has not conducted any workshops at Malcolm X Park since December 2015.
Afrika Abney offered professional dance consulting services at various locations including Malcolm X Park, H.D. Cooke Elementary School, and Roots Public Charter School. She led West African dance workshops at Malcolm X Park for 14 years and conducted dance workshops at elementary schools which she visited from 2011 to 2016, engaging over 200 students.

Led dance workshops teaching West African dances, cultural context, and history to elementary students, engaged over 200 students in energetic dance sessions, developed a structured curriculum, collaborated with school principals to tailor workshops to student needs, and achieved measurable improvements in student engagement and cultural understanding.
