In 2017, Ms. Afrika Abney visited Rock Creek Park. She threw away all of the items shown in the above photo for various reasons.
Ms. Abney has not returned back to Rock Creek Park since 2018.
Ms. Afrika Abney began providing services as a consultant in 1992. She uses her formal training in the arts to provide services to non profits and schools. Some of the services that she offers and provides include abstract art, art exhibitions, art promotions, book promotions, digital marketing, email marketing, flyer designing, in person flyer dissemination, online advertisement, online flyer dissemination, press release distribution, and social media marketing.

" Some of the services that Ms. Afrika Abney offers includes abstract paintings, collages and commissioned work.

Art promotion
Ms. Afrika Abney has been promoting her own art for more than two decades. Additionally, she also has had the opportunity to promote other visual artists through creative strategies and outreach efforts using various platforms.
Book Promotions
Since 2007, Ms. Afrika Abney has had the pleasure of promoting various authors by writing book reviews and preparing media kits. However, in 2020, She promoted several books written by women authors such as Joy Jones, Fearless Public Speaking, Ms. Stephanie Mickle, Follow the Leader and Ms. Jonetta Rose Barras, Whatever Happened to Daddy's Little Girl?
She has promoted these books online via social media. The book promotions were related to various events hosted by Esther Productions, Inc. Unfortunately due to the Coronavirus pandemic the events were cancelled.
In 2022, Kaleidoscope was released by Esther Productions, Inc.

From 2018 - 2019, Ms. Afrika Abney disseminated numerous flyers that announced events hosted by BZB International and Esther Productions, Inc. Some of them include All Souls Unitarian Church, Shaw Library, Lee's Flower Shop, Emery Heights Community Center (formerly known as Emery Recreation Center), Potter's House, Lost City Books, Columbia Heights Center, Chevy Chase Community Center, Nineteenth Street Baptist Church, Chevy Chase Presbyterian Church, Fort Stevens Senior Center, Shepherd Library, Petworth Library, Mt. Pleasant Library, LAMB PCS on Aspen, LAMB PCS on Military Road, Brightwood Education Campus, Center City PCS -- Brightwood Campus, So Your Moms, Ackerman Cleaners, and other venues located in Washington, D.C..
On August 29, 2023, Ms. Abney resumed providing in person flyer dissemination services for Esther Productions, Inc.

Ms. Afrika Abney has created and posted over 15 online advertisements for various events.

Ms. Afrika Abney has posted over 200 flyers online since 2009 that referenced various events hosted by the Malcolm X Drummers and Dancers, BZB International, Esther Productions, Inc and other organizations.Some of the flyers were sent to schools, youth community centers and parent groups outside of Washington, D.C. region by Ms. Abney.

Ms. Afrika Abney has distributed over 30 press releases about various events for over 12 years.Press releases sent via email or posted widely on social media. Some of which were written and prepared by Ms. Abney.
