Bullying Statement

Bullying someone doing something is hurtful and an unpleasant experience. For many years, Ms. Afrika Abney has had multiple experiences as it relates to being bullied. When she wears the color the orange, Ms. Abney is sending a message to the community and society to stop bullying and empower people with uplifting messages that speaks about hope, unity and social change.



Because as Dr. Maya Angelou says: “When someone shows you who they are believe them the first time.” Unfortunately, many people have shown me who they are the first time, but she was extremely young to understand human behavior. As Ms. Abney gotten older, she researched about bullying and still did not understand why people bully.
