REVIEWS:

If you're looking for a cheap way to have a manicure, this is it. These do not include a base or top coat so I had to buy my own. The colors are a very low viscosity, takes three layers to create an even tone. Using these gel colors with the lamp and base/top coats (not included) takes about 45 min. After a couple of days of using my hands they all peel off. These polishes must be layered correctly or they will either be too thin or bubbly thick. I find myself doing my nails once a week now. TL; DR - I've had this set for almost two weeks now and I actually enjoy it.

Longer review:

I bought this set when it was on sale for $8. I was a little skeptical at first but then I thought, "Eh what the heck, I'll try it". I really do like the colors, I thought they were very pigmented. Also to note color 0718 is more of a light shimmery color. I thought it would be more of a white color, but it's kind of purple. You will need more coats if you want it opaque. I was surprised that it didn't come with a nail file but, that is okay because I already had one.

I didn't use primer or dehydrator because I wanted to see how long it would last on its own. It has lasted me a week a few days, and I haven't had any lifting at the cuticle or free edge.

Steps I used:

1. buff/file nails using 180 grit file

2. dust my nails with an old toothbrush (you can use a brush if you have that)

3. Apply base coat but I scrubbed it into my nail for full adhesion.

4. Cure 60 secs

5. Apply builder gel in a thin coat then put a dollop in the middle to let it self level

6. Cure for 120 secs (I was using a different led lamp. Wanted to make sure it would cure)

7. Apply color. Cure 60 secs.

8. Apply top coat. Cure 60 secs.

9. Applied cuticle oil.

Overall I think this is a good kit for beginners and those who want to try using builder gel. To me the viscosity was pretty flexible? I was shocked. Very easy to apply once I got the hang of it. I am pretty sure that this set that I have on now will last me another week before I take it off.
