STEP 1: SOAK THE STAIN

Use enough product to thoroughly penetrate both the carpet and underlying pad (or upholstery and underlying cushion). The best practice is to try and soak the problem area with an amount Stain & Odor Eliminator equal to the urine. This allows the product to penetrate deep into the carpet and come in full contact with the urine.

STEP 2: LET IT SIT

One hour is the minimum recommended time for existing stains and/or severe odor problems. The longer the treated area can soak, the better. In some circumstances it might be beneficial to allow the affected area to soak overnight

STEP 3: COVER WITH TOWEL AND WEIGHT

Fold a towel and place it over the treated area with a weighted object on top to wick the residual liquid out of the affected area

STEP 4: VACUUM & INSPECT

Once dried, vacuum and inspect the treated area. Stain and odor should be gone. If not, repeat procedure. Older stains or persistent odor problems may require more than one treatment.
