Mascara is pretty much the only makeup I wear and I even stopped using that when I started having to use medicated eye drops twice a day. Then I just decided one day I wanted to try mascara again so was looking for something very budget-friendly and non-waterproof that would be easy to wash off and not irritate my eyes. This seemed like a good bid so I ordered the green label "false lash effect" tube. I've been using it about a month now and don't have any strong feelings for or against it, it's just kind of an "ok, it will do" situation because the price was right.

Does it make my lashes more prominent in just one coat? Yes. But it seems kind of dry and doesn't glide on as I'd expect. It's not as easy as just wiping the wand across the lashes and getting coverage, I have to keep brushing here and there with the wand at different angles to get all the lashes. But I'm not a make-up maven so maybe this is how it is with all mascaras.

As for washing it off, it takes more effort than I'd like as it needs more than just water to remove. Water alone just leads to raccoon eyes so I've taken to applying a tiny bit of moisturizing body lotion (I learned from experience a while back that oil takes off mascara) to a cotton ball and gently wiping my eyes with that after I've washed with just water.

Overall, I don't have any particularly strong love it / hate it feelings for this product so am giving it 4 stars because it's an OK product for those who don't want to spend a fortune on makeup.

After seeing a ton of articles saying that this was the best mascara that anyone has ever used, and it is really, really affordable, I decided to just give it a try and see what the hype was about.

Well, I will happily say that I am on my 2nd tube of this mascara!! I could not believe how fabulous this works!! I wear makeup everyday and use a makeup remover cloth using just water to clean it off, so I figured if it could come off easily with just water, I would be a lifetime customer. I will be purchasing my 3rd tube of this in the next month or so, so yeah it really is that damn good!!

It doesn't clump, stays on all day and looks great, comes off really easy, and does exactly what it says. Your lashes will be longer, fuller, and quite possibly the best they've ever looked! Once you use it the first time, you will understand what I'm talking about. Next thing you know, you'll be getting your 3rd tube soon too.
