I've tried many different brands of electrolyte replacement products, from Vitalyte, to GNC products.

Liquid IV is by far the best at what it does, which is hydrate you and save you from possible heat exhaustion and stroke.

These are a must have for blue collar workers like myself who spend 12 hour days In high heat, some days I will drink a gallon or two of water, and not urinate once...

Good to have for an emergency bag or just to keep in your car or bike bag. Also a godsend for long hikes, days on the beach or for a hangover. It definetly will cut a hangover recover in half if your not so far gone as to not even keep water down.

They also always come very well packaged, taste great, and are easy to use.

Downsides. Price is basically the only one I can see. That and the sugar is a bit a high, with 10 grams per packet. May have to do with their patented cct tech. which at first was skeptical of and though of it as a gimmicky selling point, but after using it for awhile, these hydrate you much faster than water alone, and keep you hydrated longer, via those all important electrolytes.

If you want a cheaper option, vitaylte is the way to go. A little more sugar in that product, but it was created by a pro hiker and works just as well, minus the flavor, taste and sugar content as mentioned already.

I was given a free sample and was pleased so I bought some!! I have used the adult Pedialyte packets in the past and you had to choke those down, but these have such a better flavoring. Full disclosure-they are pretty salty tasting but if you use enough water, it’s not that bad. It was shocking at first though, not expecting it. We have used the watermelon and fruit punch flavors and they are good! I have used them after doing yard work, while traveling, and after a long evening of adult beverages and was not disappointed!!! Scientifically I’m not sure if I’m actually more hydrated after drinking it, but I feel good and it seems to work!
