In this session, a panel experts who serve as IRB chairs and reviewers will discuss IRB application and review process for practitioner action research which is a practical yet systematic research method that enables practitioners such as teachers to investigate their own teaching and their students' learning. Summer Professional Development Opportunity

Invitation to the 3rd international Action Research Summer Camp in Austria (June 11 to 18, 2023)

This transnational training course in Participatory Action Research invites people who have different levels of experience in participatory processes and community work or who hope to conduct and apply community-based research (CBR) and organization in their work. Camp members are based across different countries. The short course is led by Fulbright Specialist Dr. Corey Dolgon (USA) and Dr. Eberhard Raithelhuber (Austria) and is part of the Continuing Education program at Bertha von Suttner Private University.

The residential week takes place in an off-campus venue belonging to a social partner, the Waldhüttl grassroots project in Innsbruck, Austria. Waldhüttl is a sprawling, rustic facility that welcomes people from the economic and social margins: transnationally mobile Hungarian- and Rumanian-speaking Roma who slept for years on the streets before becoming part of this project.

Short course / summer school: micro-credential with Certificate of Attendance (6 ECTS points); workload: 150h, fee: € 275,-, application deadline: December 1, 2022. Read more: www.suttneruni.at/camp. Facebook: https://fb.me/e/4wlBD4abA
