Task 3 was a slightly different exercise. We were given a csv file, which had coordinate points to which we were to georeference another USU quad image on control points(placed out by Dr Wheaton). The image, because it was shot at an angle made it difficult to accurately place the points on their corresponding control points. Notice on the figure, how the white control points under the red control points do not match perfectly. I came to the conclusion that an analysis can still be preformed because it gives a rough idea of where the points needed to be. Georeferencing is not always easy or accurate. It is a way to display valuable information in images collected by oneself or with a group. There are a lot variables in collecting images such as: weather, functionality of the instruments, human errors, or drastic changes in landscape.
