This lab focused on the creation of vector data (i.e. points, polylines, and polygons). the creation of this data was done for the sole purpose of creating a map of a proposed campsite in Cache National Forest. The layout was of my own design using the draw tool. To create the necessary boundaries for the campsite, it was imperative that I create various feature classes that then become vital pieces of the map itself. Attribute tables are a very vital part of this process as it was used to analyze the land cover types included in the displayed extent of the campsite. Editing was a vital portion of this lab because it allowed me to draw the trails, paths, and park boundaries. A brief description of the site itself allows for the viewer to visualize the parameters of the campsite. Sharing the data that is created is then packed in to a map package that can be shared and opened in ArcMap for viewing and editing.
