Special Registrations for 2024 - The ACR office manager (Amy) keeps a running list of any special discounts for registrations and anyone who will receive a free registration.
ACR uses a site called Memberclicks to manage memberships and event registration. The registration form is created in Memberclicks by the ACR office manager. Typically registration opens at the end of July or early August (will be earlier this year since the conference is in September). As Conference Co-Chairs you will need to determine what unique items to have on the registration form. Please work with the ACR office manager (Amy) to finalize every question on the registration form. Looking at past examples will be very helpful.

On-going registrations will be monitored by ACR's Office Manager to assist with any issues that arise (refunds, selection changes, etc)
All attendees must be registered, even those who do not need to pay for their registration. These attendees will receive a discount code with instructions. In the past, those who need the discount code are student volunteers (travel stipend winners), Keynote speakers, Conference Co-Chairs (not track chairs), Communications and Membership Managers, ACR's Executive Director and Assistant, Conference Coordinator, and so on depending on the year.
Any attendees needing an official participation/acceptance letter prior to the conference to obtain a visa can contact ACR's Office Manager.
After the conference, all those who checked in at registration will automatically receive a "thank you for attending" email (written by the chairs). If anyone needs further confirmation of attendance, they can email acr@acrwebsite.org (Amy).
ACR's Conference Coordinator will order ID badge holders and all other items needed for the attendees.
The evening prior to the start of the conference ACR's Office Manager, Conference Coordinator, and student volunteers will work to prepare all attendee's ID Badges and compile all other additional materials for each attendee (sponsor handouts, meal tickets, drink tickets, etc). This also serves as our welcome and orientation for the student volunteers. We usually have a pizza party for them after we've prepped all the materials.
Walk-in Registrations are welcome and will be processed online by the attendee. This registration can be done on the attendee's own device or by using one onsite. We will have an on-site registration kiosk print the ID badge at the registration desk.
