Abstracts in a word are pulled as individual files off the ExOrdo program and tagged or named accordingly to their system ID # which is included in a supporting master excel file submitted to Omnipress. These files will be separated into 6 folders or sections based on the 6 types of abstracts listed below. According to Omnipress (Jessica Fogarty 9-7-21) “as long as I have the excel spreadsheet with the IDs listed you can provide the papers loose without the folders and we’ll order them when converting and formatting.”
Special Session Summary Section

Inside each folder, sequence the order of files. The sequence will match the order that the abstracts/papers will appear in that section.
ACR has now permanently moved to a model of NOT allowing authors to proof their abstracts prior to publication. Since the 2010 conference, all authors had been warned that they should upload what they want published. After the published cutoff date, ACR will print what was submitted to the collection site.

Omnipress Preparation & Proofs
Omnipress will begin to format the above data into a consistent look and feel of prior Proceeding
Omnipress will use the same page margins, fonts and point sizes as the past proceedings.
Omnipress will complete up to 2 rounds of Proofs as described in the 3 phases below with the Editor(s) eventually signing off on a “ready to print” approval. (See Phases Below).
Formatting Expectations
Working from your supplied MS-Word files Omnipress will convert raw text to a format that will generate indexes, headers and pages that will reflow and auto- number when new content is inserted or removed. Page numbering in the Table of Contents (TOC) is done after all abstracts have been accounted for; adding or subtracting an abstract will change the page numbering and will be completed towards the end of the proofing process. ACR will not be charged for any changes that deal with formatting, example: headers, spacing, etc. as those are part of the typesetting expectations However spelling and grammar within the raw data is not part of the formatting responsibility and ACR will be responsible for proofing these errors and will be charged at an hourly rate during the 1st thru 3rd phases of the proofing process. The Project Manager will share an estimated cost with the Editors before work is completed.
Style is agreed upon. (See first bullet under “Preparation & Proofs” above)
