Organisation

The Ada County Sheriff's Office is first segregated into two Bureaus: the Bureau of Operations and the Bureau of Administration, a Chief Deputy heading each.

This is further divided into three divisions: the Special Operations Division, the Operations Division, and the Patrol Division. The Divisions of Special Operations and General Operations are both headed by a Major, with the Patrol Division being an extention of General Operations.

These Divisions are then split into four core divisions: Metro SWAT, the Investigation Unit, Traffic Enforcement, and Department Affairs.
