During science in my student teaching I had the opportunity to learn how to teach the Cereal City Science Curriculum. This incorporated many different aspects such as reading, group work, videos, and presentations. I liked to add in different activites throughout this as well.
This is the book we would read from and have class discussions. My students enjoyed reading and then being able to think, pair, and share afterwards. We were able to have many science talks after our readings from here.
