This was a math lesson that I taught from Bridges Mathematics.
This is a small group lesson I taught on reading comprehension.
This is a lesson plan for when I instructed the students on how to write their body three paragraph for an informational essay.
This lesson plan is from a science lesson that was taken from the Cereal City Science program, but I modified it for my specific class.
This is a Social Studies lesson about the Battle of Lexington. It had many different aspects to continue to ensure student engagement.
Small groups were a part of my everyday teaching. It would look different depending on the subjects. For example, in reading there were students who needed assitance in comprehension. Therefore, if we had a reading comprehension assignment in the class, I would pull my small group of students and work with them while the other students worked independently.
Technology was incorporated into our everyday learning. I made sure that I was able to master the different websites we used in our classrooms. Also, I added new ideas and ways to incorporate technology.
This is a sample of slides that I would change daily. If students needed redirection, they knew they were able to look at the board and find out what they should be doing. I would be able to set timers on these slides. This helped the students stay on task and maximized my teaching time.
When completing full group lessons, I would have to take different things into account such as the students attention spans, the different level each student was at, and how engaging the lesson was. While doing full group lessons, I would work in participation activites and individualized aspects. Therefore, the students would always be doing something during the lesson and be active throughout.
