We entertained ourselves by making a key worker thank you rainbow at home with a difference. We did family portraits in red orange yellow green blue purple pink and white using the vouce control on the camera. It entertained us finding the coloured objects! Finding costumes, striking poses, and.... We managed to tidy up really quickly if we all helped. Mummy is a key worker front line nhs doctor.

This was a personal project of over 70 portraits taken between 16th April - 8th May. Following government advice I decided not to leave my home to document the pandemic, instead all of the images were taken from my doorstep. I invited passers-by to pause for a moment on their daily journey and asked them to stand behind the 2m line while I asked questions about their journey, a crucial element to the project. I was fortunate that nearly everyone was keen to share their experience including bus drivers, the clergy and the postman

Lockdown for some animals has been difficult too as they miss their owners’ company and attention. Whilst waiting patiently. Life still has to continue with our 'new' normal whatever that that may be, still unforeseen accidents can still occur. When the unimaginable happens and you have said your last goodbye, the loss is no less real. When only emptiness is left behind it's hard as you can't seek comfort from friends and family, messages passed in a book are all you can hope for. Compassion with words left with thought and understanding. Tomorrow, the sun will rise. Embrace the beauty of the day and what it may bring.

My name is Tash Frootko and I have been transforming a street in Gloucester with a colour makeover. St Mark Street in Kingsholm has been turned from drab to fab and is now known as the 'Rainbow Street'. 40 of the 52 houses were painted in bright and bold colours and the streets community really united. You can now walk a real life rainbow!

As a student at Gloucestershire University aged 60 for one of my assignments I had to photography people in the “street” of Gloucester and to take portraits of people in a studio setting but due living on my own and unable to access the University to photograph portraits. I went on the local Facebook asking if people would mind me photographing though their windows on the step on their houses or flats, on their Allotments, at 8pm for NHS community support and V.E. Day The 5 Images had been taken of people in lock down in Kingsholm. We All missed Friday’s and wedding anniversary, but Derek and Freda missed out having family and friend to their 60s but the Queen didn’t forget. Other people like myself are living lone with the lock down and the issues of loneliness, mental heath and cancer. Chris had just found out that he had cancer just after I took this photo of him sitting on the steps of his flat. We found help and friendship from all walks of life, Donna at the local shop made card to any who need help of food etc to be deliver to their door. The people at Hinton Road kind office to shown support by look through their window so I could take their photographs.

Community comes in all shapes and size but we needed it more since from the 23th March 2020. Due to a meeting on top of garden shed due to lockdown I was invited to photograph the local allotment community. The photographs I have submitted show that gardening is a positive of breaking down barrier and making friends. The lockdown we saw people overly buying more than they needed and that food bank was need more than ever. This group of Allotments owners not feed themselves by giving food back to their streets and communities via text or what’s apps to be safe during this time.

This project is called "Resilience" and was born during the COVID-19 lockdown. It started as a way to keep track of the changing that were happening in Cheltenham but quickly developed into something bigger. Indeed, with this series I also want to focus on how, despite the situation, people managed to face this unattended event with a positive attitude, thinking about ways to get through it and to support the rest of the community. In order to do this I decided to combine pictures showing the sadness and emptiness of closed shops with images of hope and strength. This series shows people on furlough, people that lost their jobs and people that are still actively working to support the community. Cheltenham Made It. Images taken between 6th May 2020 and 30th May 2020.

My nephew Richard Dunne was lucky to be first person married in Gloucester after lockdown on 4th July. I have posted 5 photos to the entry but I love this one I took with them walking outside registry office after just getting married as it shows Gloucester streets very empty and the bride looking in an empty shop window.

Title - ‘The Daily Mile' These pictures were taken at Pitville Park, Cheltenham, on 22nd April 2020. After four weeks of lockdown, as a family, we were all feeling the pressure of missing our friends, dealing with home learning schedules, and changes to routine. I decided to orchestrate a 'daily mile' where each morning we would get on our bikes and scooters and find some green space near our home. I remember feeling grateful that we have this beautiful park within walking distance of our home, grateful for the good weather, and also grateful that we are healthy enough to be able to go outside. The first picture features my son, Orlando, age 12, observing wildlife at the edge of the lake.
