What is the R2 Performance Center?
The R2 Performance Center is the Army's strategy for strengthening individual and unit personal readiness, fostering a culture of trust, and optimizing performance. They provide customized performance and resilience training and education to anyone who is part of the Army family (all Soldiers, Family Members, and DA Civilians).

Performance Training: Sport/performance psychology training/coaching tailored to the unit’s or individual’s needs/goals. Provided in classroom and/or field.
Resilience Training: Skills that help you build better self-awareness, self-regulation, optimism, mental agility, strength of character and connection with others in order to better deal with adversity and to grow and thrive.
Engage: 2-hour facilitated discussion that emphasizes peer-to-peer engagement at the earliest sign of a deviation from normal behavior or standards. Per AR 600-92 (4-6.g), Commanders are authorized to use Engage with the suicide prevention info-graphic and vignette as authorized training to meet the annual suicide prevention requirement.
Academic Performance Training: Academic skills training to enhance performance in schoolhouses, college, etc. Performance Skills Include: Learner Mindset, Expand Your Memory, Leverage Your Peers, Power Reading, Study Hacks, Effective Note Taking, Master Essay Questions and Short Papers, and Master Your Tests
Team Building: Activities and facilitated discussions that build cohesion, trust, and communication.
Mastery: One-on-one coaching sessions in sport/performance psychology, resilience and/or academic performance training.
Squad Leader Development Course: 2-day training focused on empowering squad leaders to craft and refine their own personal leadership philosophy focused on the areas of character, commitment, culture of trust, and development.
Counseling Enhancement Workshop: The interactive and unique 2.5 day workshop to learn and practice fundamental counseling and communication skills and immediately apply the skills in scenario-based counseling role-plays.
Tactical Care Initiative: The 4-Week Resilience Course (once a week for 90 minutes) is here to help you bounce back from adversity, perform under pressure, and thrive in the face of challenges.
Jumpmaster Readiness Course (by request only): The Jumpmaster Readiness Course offers academic and performance enhancement strategies to help Soldiers through White Slip and to improve their odds of a first time go. Soldiers will learn test taking tips, memory hacks, and effective study habits. Furthermore, they will learn how to leverage applied strategies to manage attention and regulate physiology during the stress of both PWAC and JMPI testing. We offer individual mastery sessions, 8-hr, 3-day and 5-day courses for units to schedule based on their availability. Please call to discuss

All Soldiers, Family Members, and DA Civilians may reach out to the R2 Performance Center (R2PC) by calling 910-908-4459 or by visiting the center in person. They are here to help and encourage any inquiries with specific requests. They may ask for the following details:
