Packets are now being accepted through April 8th, 2026.
The 82nd Airborne Division will host the Junior Paratrooper of the Year Award ceremony during All American Week 26 in order to recognize Children in the Division who excel academically, demonstrates leadership and resiliency, have made sacrifices, participates in extra-curriculum activities, and contributes to their unit and community.
Anyone can nominate any child within the Division in elementary through secondary school (K-12). All children nominated will be recognized, but one child from each category (Elementary School, Middle School, and High School) will be awarded as the 2026 Junior Paratroopers of the Year. Winners are selected through an independent panel consisting of 5 community members who work closely with Paratroopers and Families. These panelist will grade the responses to the packet questions and they will be tallied to name our 3 winners.
For transparency and to know exactly what each child is scored on, see the example: 2026 JPOY Panel Scorecard
Packets to fundraise during All American Week 2026 are now being accepted through Close of Business (COB) April 17th, 2026.
Not only are units allowed to fundraise for their SFRGs, but units with other informal funds accounts (i.e. cup and flower, ball fund, unit fund, etc.) are able to raise money for.
The events schedule for this year's event has not been published as the final draft, but once available it will be sent to unit Command Family Readiness Representatives (CFRRs). Please contact your CFRR in the coming weeks to receive the events schedule.
Meanwhile, if you click the packet, page 2 has all of this year's events for fundraising opportunities listed. All received packets will be added to the packet tracker located here: AAW26 Fundraising Packet Tracker. Everyone has access to review for approval status and to know the items being sold at the same location you plan to fundraise. **As you are planning your fundraiser, keep in mind that some of the most successful fundraising teams have been those who didn't do the common items of hotdogs, hamburgers, brats, etc. But those who sold uncommon items usually sold out.**
Read the packet thoroughly to ensure appropriate trainings are completed as necessary.
