ABOUT
Each year, cadets may apply to attend specialized training during the summer months at Cadet Training Centres (CTCs) located across Canada. This is a competitive process, so not every cadet will be selected for Summer Training.
For many cadets, participating in summer training is the highlight of their year. The many diverse training opportunities offered during the summer months are the perfect occasion to make friends for life during experiences youth will never forget. All expenses are covered by the program**, including transportation, lodgings, meals, admission fees, and training costs. Additionally, there is a training bonus provided to every cadet of $60 per week up to a maximum of $360 for each course, intended to support personal living expenses such as toiletries, footwear, etc.
(**Exceptions exist for flying training participants, who must pay for TC medicals, passport photos, TC exam fees. See "Flying Training" for more information.)
