About 514 Kinsmen RCACS
We are a non-profit youth organization funded by the Department of National Defence and by our community sponsor, the Kinsmen Club of St. John’s. For over 75 years we have served the youth in our community by offering free, accessible training in such important areas as leadership, music, public speaking, marksmanship, physical activity and, of course, aviation.
Regular Training is conducted at CFS St. John's (115 The Boulevard) on Mondays from 1830-2115 hours (6:30pm-9:15pm), unless otherwise stated for specific dates below.
Registration is free and always open!

Detailed Health Questionnaire Forms
If the administration officer has provided you with a medical form, please return it as soon as possible.
The delayed return of these forms can prevent registration in provincial and regional events, such as competitions, specialty training, and so on.
Monday, 27 October 2025 – Halloween Carve and Shoot
Timings as per usual on Monday evenings
Dress: Halloween costumes (best will win an award!). No full-face masks are permitted in the military facility.
Details: Cadets will rotate through the air rifle range, if they have completed their safety handling test. During their downtime, cadets will carve pumpkins/squashes individually or in groups. The final 1-2 groups may shoot at the carved vegetables (if anyone is willing to sacrifice their artwork!).
Name Tags
Cadets should wear their name tag in either their blue or green issued uniform.
New recruits will receive their first name tag later in the Fall.
Medical Forms
Please complete and return Annual Validations and Detailed Health Questionnaires as soon as possible. An incomplete medical record can prevent cadets from participating in field trips and specialty training opportunities.
