Essential Beliefs are essential - must haves. In order to be a follower of Jesus, you must believe these things. Essential Beliefs are what we believe about God and Jesus and God's rescue plan for us.
Essential Beliefs About God:
God has always existed.
God is the Creator of the Universe and everything in it, and it all belongs to Him.
There Is one true God that exists In three persons: the Father, the Son (Jesus), and the Holy Spirit (Helper).
The verses that tell us these beliefs are:
Psalm 100:3 Know that the LORD, he is God! It is he who made us, and we are his; we are his people, and the sheep of his pasture.
Psalm 46:1 God is our refuge and strength, a very present help in trouble.
