We can be uncertain of how we relate to others, especially when someone doesn't like you. In Matthew 26:52-54, we see how Jesus responds to the crowd when they wanted to kill him. Jesus made it clear that we should love God and love others...even when it's hard...even when we don't want to. We can do this because God loved us first even when we sin.
Read Mark 12:30-31.
Who is your neighbor?
What does it mean to love your neighbor?
Use the following steps to help combat the uncertainties of relationships:
God to God: Tell Him what worries you. Throw your worries on Him, because he loves you.
Find Courage: Trust in the one person who has the power over all you are worrying about: God. God will be with you as you walk through your troubles. God will not leave you alone. Trust in Him - Find courage in His presence.
Replace: Replace your fearful thoughts with thanksgiving, truth, and praise for God. Be thankful that the God of the universe wants to help you and love you through things like relationship problems, bullies, meanness, jealousy, etc...
Pray and ask God to help you love others even when it's hard.
