Read Acts 13-16 this week at home. 

Discuss these questions with someone at home:

How did the Jews respond to seeing a large crowd with Paul and Barnabas? How did the Gentiles react?

What can you take from Paul and Barnabas’ example and use in your life?

What did Paul and Silas do to wind up in jail? What did they do while they were in prison? How did God’s power change the jailer’s heart?

What changes do you need to make to help you be able to recognize the Holy Spirit’s direction in your life?

Spend some time in prayer reflecting over what you have read. Thank God for sending the Holy Spirit to help guide believers. Ask God to help you hear His prompts and to better  listen and act on those prompts. If you aren’t yet a believer, ask God to help show you the answers to questions that might be holding you back from taking this step of faith.
