NUSA DUA 5 (Room 1)
Treating Class II, especially non-growing Class II is always challenging to orthodontists. To correct the increased OJ, extraction of upper 1st bicuspids or upper molar distalization are the two major treatment modalities that most orthodontists will choose. If the naso-labial angle is favorable, how about to relieve all the occlusal interference to induce Class II jump to harmonize the profile without using elastics or mini-screws? Since simpler and shorter treatment duration is good for patient compliance and experience, and the clinicians can also benefit from it as well. In this presentation, how to precisely relieve the occlusal interferences to induce jaw relationship change (bite jump) will be discussed.
