Kellye is a Branch Assistant at the Robert Crown Library Branch where she focus on graphic novel/comic collection and multicultural programming.

She recently graduated with an MLIS from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee focusing on instructional technologies.

Kellye had the idea of 10th Ward Lit during the height of lockdown, envisioning it as a creative outlet for Evanstonians

Beatriz Echeverría

Bea is a Branch Assistant at the Robert Crown Library Branch, where she focuses on the interests  of the Latinx Communities. She is the person behind the Boletín de la Biblioteca and loves all things Spanish.

She is also involved in local environmental groups, particularly around Environmental Justice and Solidarity Economies.

Bea provides translation to Spanish for the 10th Ward Lit.

MaryKate is a Branch Assistant at the Robert Crown Branch Library, where she focuses on arts and creativity in learning and literature. She has over ten years of experience in the library world, and a deep love of contemporary art and literature that she hopes will add a worthwhile perspective to 10th Ward Lit.

She brings previous editorial experience and a keen eye, as well as a background in visual arts. She’s thrilled to be a part of the 10th Ward Lit team. 

Daisy Tellez

Graphic Designer

Designing is a form of mixing two things she is passionate about, technology and art. Union Board, a student organization, helped her explore her design skills. As a member she created flyers and managed their social media page. Now she promotes library programs and activities through design. 

Ellie Lind

Ellie Lind is a senior at Evanston Township High School. Ellie works for the Evanstonian, ETHS’s school newspaper, as photo and art editor as well as an illustrator. For this project Ellie worked with Nora Miller to create a logo to represent 10th Ward Lit.
