The 10th Ward Lit magazine is a digital literary magazine edited and published by Evanston Public Library.  We seek to showcase the diverse artistic voices of Evanstonians. The title 10th Ward Lit was chosen because the Library seeks to not only be a space for residents of all 9 Wards, but offers a“10th Ward” for imagination and growth. We choose themes for each issue that impact the Evanston community to spark conversation and reflection.  While we are open to submissions from people of all walks of life, we particularly seek to highlight groups traditionally underrepresented in publishing such as indigenous writers and writers of color, LGBTQA+ writers, members of the disability community, and women.
