10th Ward Lit:

The Climate Issue

A Literary Magazine Publication of Evanston Public Library

There isn't much doubt that Climate Change is real; from wildfires and freak storms to rainy days in Greenland's summits and islands being slowly swallowed by the Pacific Ocean. The physical world as we know it is changing in front of our eyes and, while we are responsible for these changes, we are helpless witnesses to their impact over everything we care about.

In this issue, we would like to provide a platform for artists to express what Climate Change means to them, how it impacts their communities, intersections, bodies and relationships, as well as what they feel the future holds for Humanity in front of this our biggest challenge.

The way we interact with the natural world is also relevant to this edition of the 10th Ward, as well as the artists’ perspective on the importance of keeping Nature whole or as intact as possible.
