Collect some special treasures from home or around the school. These could be Jewellery, Gems, shells, crystals, flowers. Transparent objects are quite effective: gloves, glad wrap, lightbulbs.
Decide of composition and background colour. Leaving the copier cover open will create a black background. Closing it will create white. you can also play around with movement and fluidity of the objects.
Get your printer code number off KAMAR or your teacher and note this down as you will need this to scan.
Step 1: Log in to the photocopier and select the scan option.
Step 2 : Select scan to my email
Step 3: Under settings select:
A3 - COLOUR- JPEG
Step 4 : Start Scanning
(this will then be emailed to your school email address)
Insert this into Photoshop. Create a border if you wish to. Download a new font or create a font style that works for your zine. Use the vertical type tool to create directional fonts and use Te Reo words of the ideas in our Scanography.
Attach final page to your Zine Template.
