TEST OUT TYPE EFFECTS
Watch this youtube video to uncover different typography ideas in Photoshop.
Have a play and test out atleast 5 of these ideas
Open a new page in Photoshop that uses the measurements on the Zine Templates page.
Choose a different text effect for each of the words Ko- Wai- Au- ?
Think about shadowing, repetition, distorting, transparency and over lay these.
Compositionally you need to create this text on one side to leave room for your digital portrait.
Refer to your mood board for colour scheme ideas.
Alternatively you can find letter from the magazines and cut these out to create a manual name collage

CREATE A DIGITAL PORTRAIT
Print out a selfie and use the light reflection of the window to create a line drawing, try to keep lines uniform, so there are blocked areas to fill in later with colour.
IMAGE TRACE TOOL ILLUSTRATOR
You will then send this to yourself and open in Illustrator and use the tools. Select the Object > Image Trace > Make
Copy and paste Image (Ctrl C + Ctrl V) onto your Ko Wai Au page in Photoshop and using the magic wand or quick selection tool, select area to then fill with paint bucket tool or Edit>Fill (e.g- eyes, lips, hair)
Attach final page to your Zine Template
