CREATE A DIGITAL MONTAGE
Hayley Warnham inspired work
Create a Hayley Warnham inspired work - this time using your own image. Bring in image of an old photo to create a work from:
Use adjustments to make image Black and White, can also add a photo filter of Sienna for the vintage look
Use the magnetic lasso tool/Polygonal tool or quick selection tool to create fill areas (on a new layer) and use bold colours to create a statement.

Choose one of the following digital collages (or any in the 'collage by woman' book) that you wish to recreate using your own imagery or found images. You can even try to create this manually by hand to get a grasp on layered techniques
This will introduce you to a range of Photoshop techniques selecting and pasting such as;
fill, opacity, shape tool, marquee, lasso, magic wand.
Once completed, flatten image and save as a .jpg to send to your teacher for printing.

Create a digital landscape
Take a photo of a significant landscape that is significant to you (or source one from the internet)
Using the polygonal lasso or magnetic marquee tool.
Cut out sky and create a selection and drag the gradient tool over the top. Repeat this from background to foreground.
Once complete use the magic wand tool for finer details.
