School Tutoring

School based counseling services are provided before school in the Balboa Library, from 8:20am-8:50am Monday through Friday. Teacher takes log of students who attend tutoring. 

Free Online Tutoring for Special Populations

Learn To Be is a nonprofit bringing free, 1-on-1 online tutoring to kids from under-resourced communities. Since 2012, our volunteer tutors have helped more than 7,803 students from low-income households and foster organizations excel in subjects ranging from basic math and reading comprehension to chemistry and precalculus.

Tutoring available for: 

• Foster students

• families that receive free or reduced lunch

• families that receive government assistance 

• students with IEP or 504

• Students in single parent home
