Students who have a free/study block can apply to serve on the Pod Squad student help desk. Service block students can earn volunteer hours while at school and use service block downtime to complete school work. There are two service block positions available.
NO PRIOR EXPERIENCE IS REQUIRED! All training is provided.

Time Commitment
Volunteers will work during their study/free block, so they should be students in good academic standing who can manage schoolwork without a full study block.
Students are encouraged to work on schoolwork any time there are no students who need assistance. However, students who need a full study block to complete work should not apply.
Student Academics
Students must be in good academic standing - without Ds or Es.
Students who do not maintain good academic standing will be allowed one probationary marking period to recover their grades.
Students who earn an E or do not recover during the probationary term may not be permitted to continue volunteering.
Student Characteristics
Role Model - Students who volunteer should be role models for their peers.
Good Customer Service - Students should have a positive attitude, give attention to detail, show enthusiasm, be dependable, helpful, eager to learn, and respectful to students and staff.
Self-Directed - At times, we will not be able to direct volunteers. Once trained, students will need to make decisions regarding how to handle student devices or 3D printers that are not working properly.
