Start here to find a solution:
Minimum password length is 12 characters.
Common words are not allowed. For example: mascots, school names, seasons, etc.
The previous 24 passwords cannot be reused.
Passwords must contain three of the following four items:
Upper case letter
Lower case letter
One number (for example, 0-9)
One of these special characters (,!$%^*()_)
Passwords must not contain part of the account name or display name.
Passwords can be changed only once every two days.

If the Chromebook asks for the old password, student selects:
Forgot Old Password (Leave the old password field BLANK)
Proceed Anyway
If a student has lost or forgotten their password, ClassLink My Classes can be used for instructors to initiate the process in their Dashboard to have students reset it for themselves.
1. To initiate the process for a student to change their password, an instructor would go into My Classes, click on the appropriate class, select the Students section, and then click the name of the student whose password is to be reset.
2. In the menu that appears, option number 1 is to be selected "Enter a temporary password for the student." Then click the Reset button. On the student's next login, a prompt will appear to enter the temporary password and then create a new password.
3. It is possible to reset the password for multiple students as well. Click on the checkbox next to the students whose passwords you wish to reset, then click on the Manage Selected button at the top of the Students section.
4. To reset all student passwords in a class, click Manage All at the top of the Students section.
