USB KEY (Yubikey): Request this method only if other methods are not viable. Place a support request (case) to the Department of Technology (DOT) to request they send you a USB Key. You will need to set up the USB key and carry it around with you. The written guide is below.
There are three possible MFA options:
Microsoft Authenticator (recommended) - app installed on your smartphone
Phone call/text - up to three different phones capable of receiving a voice call
Security key - USB key

What should you do if you forget or lose your phone:
Choose from another MFA option
Call Technology Customer Support Center at (757) 263-1111 to get a Temporary Access Password (TAP)
If you don’t have a smartphone:
Set up your office/classroom as well as your home phone for MFA
Submit a support request case to the Technology Customer Support Center to request a USB security key (Yubikey)
