Capstone Portfolio for 1902 Certification

DPI requires a capstone project as part of 1902 school library media certification. Our program has chosen a digital capstone portfolio as this final project. The portfolio will consist of work from each of your 1902 courses including your practicum or student teaching experience. 

Consult with Home Campus Advisor

Each home campus evaluates portfolios for their advisees and each campus has slightly different portfolio requirements. Talk with your home campus advisor about any capstone portfolio questions you have.

Build Portfolio from the Beginning

Add work from each class to your digital capstone portfolio as you go. Students who wait until their final semester to work on the capstone portfolio often have difficulty accessing assignments from previous semesters.
