Getting Ready to Click Apply:

Be sure that you have only up to 10 colleges on your Common Application and all information is complete. 

If you change colleges on Common app, those changes will sync to Maia. If you change colleges on Maia, they do not sync back to Common App.

Once you submit one common app set of materials, your university counselor will send all your materials to the Common App from Maia. Common App will then send on those materials to the colleges for which you have completed the application process. If you apply to one Common App school for November 1 and six in January, the common app will send all those materials they received in November. 

Please note: Your campus University Counselor must verify any waivers in advance. If you do not sync your common app early enough, you cannot be verified, and there will be a delay in the sending of documents. 

Please submit your applications before the intended deadline for early decision/early action or regular admission. Check college-specific deadlines as these may vary. Once your application is submitted, your University Counselor can see it on their end in Maia; however, please notify your counselor by email that colleges have been submitted through Common App to ensure your materials are sent in a timely fashion. If you add an institution after the Maia Learning Locking deadline, you have to meet with your counselor before they will send any documents. This means that changes that occur over the December break after the deadline will require a meeting when you return.
