The CELE Center's Community-Engaged Courses program partners with 80-100 nonprofits, governmental organizations, and schools around Seattle and King County each quarter. We work to prioritize partnerships with organizations that center BIPOC and marginalized communities. Among our partners are many of Seattle's food banks, after-school programs, shelters, immigration and refugee service centers, urban farms and community gardens, and more. To the left, this map of our 2019-2020 partnerships offers some insight into the geography of our partnerships in recent years.
While we're not able to offer a comprehensive list of our partnerships (due to the shifting nature of this list from quarter-to-quarter), we can offer some examples of community-based organizations with whom we have sustained partnerships over several years.
