If you completed Phase I and Phase II prior to starting Phase III, you have reached the end of onboarding. (If not, please return to the UVA Onboarding Course to complete the course.)

Please consider the following final thoughts:

• Use the tools that you added to your Learning Coach toolbox.

• Return to The Orientation Shoppe whenever you need a refresher.

• Take advantage of the remaining days before lessons begin to think, plan, and discuss strategies with your child(ren) so you have everything in place for a successful year.

• Be consistent in your implementation of accountability systems and monitoring routines, but be prepared (and willing) to adjust as the year progresses.

• Listen to your child and observe what's happening.

• Lean on your Learning Coach support team for support and ideas.

• Work closely with your child's teachers and communicate your observations. They depend on your eyes and ears from home.
