Drum Circle for All Ages

A Drum Circle lifts spirits, boosts brain power, and fosters community, connection, creativity, and FUN! Percussionist Isaac Fernandez leads our monthly gatherings on the Pavilion with his steady, infectious energy. Curious? Have a poem to recite, a song to play or present or just sing, a story to tell? Don’t be shy, let us know (or not) and show up at 6:30. Jack will present three songs from Scottish (by nationality not necessarily birth) singer/song writers: Donovan, the ISB, & Karine Polwart.
"Two Song Stories” A shorter take on the "Three Song Stories” program on WGCU three-song-stories. Bring two songs that are meaningful to you. Tell us why you like it, or why it grabs you, makes you want to cry, dance, etc. There can be a discussion afterwards if you like. Should take 10 to15 minutes unless you really stir up the audience. If one of your songs is longer than five minutes, make it a one song story. Go to link for two-song-story protocol, click here for protocol.

Choir!
Rehearsals resume in the fall!!
Rehearsals are held on Thursdays at 6:30 pm during season. They last 90 minutes and are always great fun, conducted by our super talented director Shawn Allison and accompanied by the ever-awesome Abbey Allison. Our congregation has a long history of inviting professional and student musicians to take part in our Sunday services which provide an opportunity for special music on occasions such as birthdays, memorials and holidays. If you would like to sponsor a guest musician, please contact office@uunaples.org. UUCGN also has a Music Gift Fund, which supports concerts, soloists and other music programs. Any donation amount is greatly appreciated and will strengthen our vibrant music programming throughout the year.
