Cuspidor's Mandate
Cuspidor, the official fourth estate of UTS, is an open forum for printed thought of the student body, typically in the form of art, articles, critiques, essays, poetry, or reviews. Any student or faculty member, past or present, may contribute.
Cuspidor is traditionally published in five issues: at the start of the academic year, on Halloween, before the Holiday break, on Valentine's Day, and at the end of the academic year. A sixth mini issue, Junior Cuspidor, is produced by a crew of Junior Editors chosen by the Editors, who assume the full duties of Editorship for the following year. Additionally, Cuspidor's blog enables students to submit between print issues.
The goal of Cuspidor is to create a welcoming space where students can share thoughts, opinions, news, and stories in the forms of art and writing.
