Join us as we deepen our assessment literacy, learn how to effectively implement mini tests, and respond to mini and interim assessment data to improve student outcomes. Participants will explore strategies for incorporating mini tests in daily instruction and learn how to utilize data from these checkpoints to make intentional, responsive instructional decisions. We will examine how interim assessments can inform curriculum pacing, identify trends, and track progress toward learning goals. Time will be provided for participants to review their own recent fall interim data and to consider strategies to group students, adjust instruction, and plan targeted interventions. Whether you're a classroom teacher, instructional coach, or school leader, this workshop will equip you with practical strategies and a data-driven mindset to ensure assessments are not just an endpoint—but a powerful lever for student growth.

The scores are in—now what? In this interactive session, we’ll move beyond the numbers and into action. Learn how to make sense of your KAP ELA assessment data and use it as a powerful tool to inform, adjust, and strengthen your instruction.
Participants will explore how to unpack score reports, review the grade-level Performance Level Descriptors (PLD’s), connect results to specific grade-level standards, and identify targeted areas for growth. We’ll also dive into how to strategically use interim assessments and mini-tests throughout the year to monitor progress, check for understanding, and respond to student needs in real time. Walk away with a clear, practical plan for using data not just for accountability—but for meaningful instructional impact.
