Students who complete an introductory-level course and a technical-level course can be eligible for a work-application course. Often times, this work-application course is an internship!

If you are a junior or senior who is on track to graduate, feel free to begin outreach to arrange an internship with a business or professional of interest. Your class schedule may need to be modified to accommodate your schedule at your internship location.

Important talking points to discuss with a potential internship professional include:

• Ask questions about what roles are available for you to intern? What job duties do these roles require?

• Is there someone on-site who can serve as your mentor during the internship?

• What schedule can work well with the employer? Examples include: half-days, a couple days a week, a weekend shift, etc.
