Students may be eligible for scholarships based on:

• Cumulative GPA

• Participation on a team, with a club, or community-based organization

• Volunteer hours completed

• Activism for a specific cause

• Membership of a particular community

• Personal characteristics: race, gender, ability status

• Even random details such as telling a joke or hair color! 

Some scholarships require an essay while others require only a cover letter and resume. Applying for scholarships can take time, but can be an investment to save you from paying more out of pocket for schooling.
