Martha Allen, a librarian with 30+ years of experience in academic libraries, has served a number of roles from part-time reference librarian to interim director of Pius XII Memorial Library. In July 2023 she was appointed the inaugural Director of Academic Integrity, a half-time position in the Provost's Office. Her commitment to supporting the teaching and research needs of the university community meshes well with issues of academic integrity. Martha's research interests include effective library instruction and connecting with physical spaces with patron needs.
Christopher Grabau, Ph. D.

Christopher Grabau, Ph.D., is an Educational Developer with over 25 years of experience working in higher education. As Program Director for the Reinert Center at Saint Louis University, Dr. Grabau consults faculty, graduate students, and academic departments on identifying effective pedagogical practices, inclusive learning strategies, and thoughtful uses of instructional technologies. Grabau holds an MA in Counseling and a Ph.D., in Education Psychology.
Dr. Grabau often utilizes a humanistic person-centered lens to identify how critical, normative, and historical perspectives impact teaching and learning throughout the educational spectrum.
Dr. Grabau has taught courses in Educational Psychology, Human Development, and Learning Assistant Pedagogy. He has presented at national conferences on faculty development, course design strategies, and effective teaching. Dr. Grabau also serves as a consultant for education for several committees and boards throughout the greater St. Louis region and is an active committee member for the POD Network (Professional Organizational Developers Network).
Lori Patel is an adult services librarian for the City of Hayward, California. Previously, she worked as an editor of legal and business news.
Mr. Haipeng Li is University Librarian at the University of California, Merced (UCM). He is responsible for leading and managing the Library operations and the future development of the UC Merced Library. Before coming to UCMerced, he was University Librarian at Hong Kong Baptist University. He also held positions at other academic libraries in the U.S.
Mr. Li is active in professional services. He is a member of the Council of University Librarians (CoUL) at the University of California. He also served as President of the Chinese American Librarians Association (CALA) 2006-2007 and Executive Director of CALA 2008-2013. He served as chair of the Joint University Librarians Advisory Committee (JULAC) in Hong Kong in 2012 and President of the Hong Kong Library Association (HKLA) 2012-2013. His research areas include information literacy, library management and leadership development, international library and collaboration and digital humanities.
