Associate Professor Huynh Thi Trang, an advanced senior lecturer at the School of Social Sciences and Humanities in Can Tho University, Vietnam, previously served as the Director of the Can Tho Learning Resource Center. She holds a PhD from RMIT University in Melbourne, Australia, and she is interested in human resources management, library management, leadership, and library innovation. With a background in project management and organizing library workshops to academic and public libraries in the Mekong Delta region, she brings a wealth of experience to her work. Notably, she has received three prestigious scholarships: the Harvard-Yenching Institute Scholarships in the USA (1995), Fulbright Visiting Scholarships in the USA (2008-2009), and Australian Development Scholarships (2010). Dr. Shih leads a team of IT professionals responsible for overseeing the library management systems of USC Libraries. Additionally, he serves as an instructor in the Master of Management in Library and Information Science program at USC’s Bovard College. As an educator, Dr. Shih is deeply involved in MLIS program accreditation and has served on both the ALA Committee of Accreditation and multiple accreditation review teams. Dr. Shih has been honored with several grants, including 2025 Fulbright U.S. Scholar, 2023 and 2020 PRRLA Karl Lo Award: 2019 International Association of University Libraries’ Research and Study Programme grant, the 2015 ALA Diversity Research Grant, and the 2010 Leading Change Institute fellow.

Kun excels at managing varieties of library applications, creating metadata crosswalks, optimizing user experience, and digital accessibility. He is an active participant in professional committees and has presented at numerous conferences. Kun holds Master of Science in Information Science from the State University of New York at Albany.
